WOMEN’S WEEKEND RETREAT IN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE IN GERMANY

From September 11-13, 2020, the long-awaited women's weekend retreat in Russian language took place on the topic 'The Power of a Woman'. One of the many miracles of the weekend was that the speaker, Helena Jakovenko, by profession a psychologist, was able to travel to Germany from the Ukraine. In her lectures, she dealt with topics such as 'Seeing yourself through the eyes of others', 'Interactive life of a modern woman' and 'Women's health from a psychological point of view'. For a very special teatime on the Sabbath afternoon, the women brought homemade delicacies.
After so many months during which no events could be organized, everyone felt fulfilled, satisfied and happy about the time spent together. Especially the prayer meeting at 7am was gratefully accepted as a good opportunity to pray with and for each other. The next weekend for Russian speaking women will take place in Pirmasens from September 24-26,2021
