Women’s Retreat in North Rhine-Westphalia

From April 13 to 15, about 60 women with an age range from 15 to 80 gathered in Mühlenrahmede to hear about the topic “Prayer and Love Save”, presented by Gerd-Laila Walter, Women’s Ministries Director of the Austrian Union. Humility is strength of character; forgiveness is letting go; God uses chosen people, in order to heal; feelings are followed by deeds – these were some of the things Gerd-Laila conveyed, illustrated by personal experiences. Time for sharing and creative activities as well as the testimony time in which the women were able to tell about their experiences and challenges left a deep impression. Organized by Olga Scharf and her team the retreat was a weekend encounter to remember.
