In the peaceful setting of a venue on the banks of Lake Ammersee 40 women gathered for a weekend retreat organized by the Bavarian conference from September 28 to 30, 2018. Angelika Pfaller, Women’s Ministries director for the two German Unions invited the participants in her calm and sensitive way to reflect on their own lives. She began with the illustration of the train of our lives and the questions: “Who is traveling with me in my train?” “Who gets off?” “How does that affect me?” With these questions at the back of their minds she walked the participants through the life of Sarah. Many women discovered parallels to their own lives. Many challenges seem like a maze. A labyrinth leads only in one direction and you need to stay on the right path, consider how to arrive at the goal – the center of our lives - Jesus Christ. No path is too long that leads to Him. The women took home many impressions from these blessed days as well as personal encounters. One of the guests said, “When I get home I will cancel my therapy and attend all women’s retreats! That is much better!” According to a report by Erika Petrich and Lorita Malek
