On Sabbath, June 28, during the second part of the day, the Adventist Church in Bajura (Botoșani) hosted a special meeting, organized by Sister Lidia Cojocaru, responsible for the Women's Ministries Department of the church.
The program was varied and rich in spiritual content. The seminar presented by Elena Petrescu, with the theme "You are needed!", conveyed a profound message about the importance of women's involvement in the life of the church, in the family and in society, where they can spread the "fragrance of Paradise" in a troubled world.
The meeting was attended by sisters and brothers from several districts: Dorohoi, Concești, Darabani and Bajura, as well as guests from Arad and Chernivtsi. The program was enlivened by special music performed by: the church choir from Darabani, female vocal groups from Dumbrăvița and Concești, the instrumental group from Tătărășeni and the junior groups from Bajura and Darabani, coordinated by sister Casandra Olteanu. The music, of high artistic quality, created a particularly holy and uplifting atmosphere.
Sister Elena Petrescu offered books to the guests, and on behalf of the Bajura church, Bibles and other publications from the Life and Health Publishing House were donated. At the end of the seminar, all the women present received a prayer booklet and a leaflet with a personal dedication, carefully prepared by Sister Elena.
The meeting ended with a fellowship meal, prepared by the sisters of the Bajura church together with sisters from other participating churches.
