Around sixty women gathered with joy and enthusiasm in Les Diablerets from October 3 to 5, 2025, to discuss the theme “A Sweet Fragrance.” Our guest speaker, Lynn Kanga Mazarin, led us on a profound, simple, and very concrete journey.
All regions of our Conference were well represented: around thirty members from across French-speaking Switzerland, fifteen from Ticino, a few from France and Italy, and a dozen women from our circles of friends. It was a blessed weekend. All our gratitude goes to our Lord.
Here is Simona Pugliese's testimony, translated from Italian:
"Here I am, back from my adventure in Les Diablerets, during the weekend organized by WM, in the company of many sisters who, like me, had the wonderful opportunity to meet Lynn Kanga.
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to understand what the essence of my perfume is, and even more so, what the “sweet perfume” of Jesus is.
Knowing that each of us has our own unique and special essence, learning to identify or recognize it, and being able to share it, is invaluable for the spiritual journey we have been on for so long. Sometimes we take many things for granted; other times, we live with the inability to see ourselves through God's eyes. What I learned during this weekend is that if I use God's gaze to observe myself, I will be able to see what I have never seen before. I will discover that my essence is so special that it allows me to recognize the place He has chosen for me in His work and in His Church.
Thank you to Lynn for her perfume, for helping us recognize our own, and for giving us an additional tool to look deep inside ourselves.
Thank you to the sisters who made me love the moments of praise, to those I met again after so many years, and to those I met for the first time. Thanks also to those who took care of us by preparing delicious meals in the kitchen, and to those who organized such a special weekend with love and dedication. Unfortunately, I had a language barrier, but in heaven, I will make up for all the conversations I couldn't share with you all. Glory to God, forever! »
