Women’s Ministries Retreat in Wittensee, Germany

The Hansa Conference ladies always look forward to their annual retreat in Wittensee as a highlight in their year, with sharing and enjoying friendships and simply having a good time together. An interesting topic is a bonus program. This year, from May 4 to 6, they were invited to consider the life cycles that influence their lives. Using various methods of illustration Hannele Ottschofski enabled the women to look back at their overlapping life cycles of family, education, work and leisure. “We weave our lives” was a topic accentuated by the interesting decoration including a weaving frame and yarns and woven products. An evening program with impromptu sketches performed by the participants was so much fun. To wrap up the weekend the last topic concentrated on the stories we could tell at the end of our lives, stressing how important it is that God is part of our stories.
