More than 40 women spent the Whitsun weekend (May 18-20) at the retreat center at Les Diablerets, Switzerland, relaxing and sharing, but also in prayer and meditation. The guest speaker for the weekend, Daniela Gelbrich, a specialist in Hebrew language and culture, spoke about the book of Ruth and revealed many interesting details through her exegesis of the text. It was greatly appreciated!
The delegation from the Italian speaking Ticino canton shared what Women’s Ministries is doing in their region with a special mention of the Girls4Christ program they have started. The Ticino ladies are involved in active ministry. May God bless them as well as all women who were present at the weekend and were involved in preparing the program. A special thanks goes to the kitchen team. May God bless Women’s Ministries in this region.
