Women's Ministries Program in Italy

Women's Meetings at the Hispanic Church in Cologno Monzese (Milan)

Sabbath 12 and Sunday 13 November 2016, the Hispanic church in Cologno Monzese (Milan) had a special program organized by the local Women’s Ministries. Under the guidance of Maria Diaz, local director of the WM and contact person for the Spanish speaking women in Northern Italy, a large group of sisters had prepared the program. The sermon on Sabbath morning was held by Franca Zucca, director of the WM at the Italian Union. She preached about our personal evangelism/testimony and the need that our character must be re-modeled (changed) to the image of that of Jesus. During the afternoon, in a room full of people, the issue of the psychological violence against the women was presented. A video on this subject was projected and some information material was distributed. The day after the women met again for breakfast, singing and praying. A spiritual message by pastor Abigaela Trofin (responsible for the WM in Northern Italy) was held: she told us that sin, salvation, forgiveness and service are not to be had at low cost. Then the women were offered some relaxing moments with massages, hair care and facial care.
The meeting ended with prayers of thanksgiving, praise and request of the Holy Spirit for the implementation of initiatives that may touch the hearts of other women.
