Month of Blessings in Ministry

May was a month of grace and joy, with the Women's Ministries Department holding meetings with the women who are active in the Lugoj and Făget districts. Praying together and sharing plans and experiences brought a new breath and hope into the hearts of the sisters involved. One of these experiences was shared by sister Viorica Nistor from Movila in the Făget district. She told how, every evening, she gathers online with a group of sisters from the country and the diaspora for an hour of prayer. This spiritual fellowship brings unity, encouragement, and strength in the midst of daily challenges.

From the Lugoj district, Sister Maria Banyacskay recounted with emotion how a charitable work that began two years ago still continues today. Twice a week, together with two other sisters, they prepared hot food for 25-30 people in need - the lonely, the homeless or the destitute. They received two meals, a piece of fruit, and a cake. Now in its third year, the food is provided once a week on Wednesdays and is prepared either at the church or at Sister Maria's home. This work has also touched the hearts of two non-Adventist ladies who have joined in with devotion, moved by the need of those around them and the example they see: "Look what Adventists do! Look how they care! How beautifully they behave and how lovingly they serve others!" Sister Maria confesses that she also feels blessed by being involved in two prayer groups: on Tuesdays in her home and on Sundays in another family.

These experiences have been reported to the glory of God, who through the Holy Spirit teaches, enlightens, and shows us the needs of those around us.
