Women’s Ministries Meeting in Paris, France

Women consider the importance and meaning of their hair

"With frizzy and curly hair, this is a real opportunity," said Janice Catarero, the guest speaker invited by Enid Cadasse, Women’s Ministries Director for the North France Conference, on the morning of the Women’s Ministries meeting in Paris on October 20, 2019. More than 70 people were present at this meeting. Our physical appearance has been and will always remain a controversial subject, but our heritage is beautiful and we must accept it as it is because God is never wrong.
Kinky, frizzy, or smooth, our hair is a permanent concern for all of us. We must take into account the psychological, social, cultural and spiritual dimensions that surround this subject.
This was the theme of the morning, supplemented by tips and practical help as to how to maintain this type of hair. For men hair does not have so much importance, but for women on the contrary, hair is an adornment in almost all civilizations.
The apostle Paul wrote, "If a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering” 1 Corinthians 11:15 NIV.
