"God planned to make the woman a suitable helper.” Growing up in Peretu No. 4 Church, I had the opportunity to see, up close, what it means to be a suitable helper. Behind every successful program, there is a lot of hard work and dedication, which our sisters do wholeheartedly, without ever complaining. That is why, on the Sabbath of September 17, 2022, the Women's Ministries Department of the Church organized a Sabbath of gratitude to God and the women involved in ministry in Peretu Church No. 4.
About 80 people participated on this occasion. On Friday evening there was a meditation presented by Sister Roza Mircescu, on Sabbath morning the worship hour was held by Alina Chircă. She spoke about the importance of prayer, and the lunchtime presentation was given by Daniela Petreacă, Director of the Women's Ministries Department, Oltenia Conference. Sister Adina Tirtea, host and presenter of the program, gave the Sabbath School and engaged the whole room with her interactive presentation.
The 27 sisters who have been consistently involved in ministry and mission activities received a personalized apron, a diploma of appreciation, some vegetarian recipes, and a pen with the logo of the Women's Ministries Department.
In the end, a delicious meal with various wonderful and tasty vegetarian dishes crowned the meeting.
We pray that God will pour out his blessings on these special women in our church and help us to be aware of and support their mission as daughters of God's Kingdom!"
