Women’s Ministries in Belgium

On October 9, 2022, women of different backgrounds and ages attended the women’s breakfast at the Adventist Church in Liege. During the round of introductions, each participant introduced another participant and added what she particularly liked about that person. It was a warm moment that led to a pleasantly convivial atmosphere. Then the rich and colorful buffet was opened. The breakfast was followed by a biblical reflection presented by Yvonne, the conference Women's Ministries director. She told the story of the woman who suffered for 12 years and her encounter with Jesus (in Mark 5:25-34). The framework of trust among the participants, all women, made it possible for them to open up more easily during discussion time. The moment ended with a time of prayer. Feedback from a participant: I experienced this breakfast with great pleasure and joy. It was very enriching and fulfilling, both on a personal and relational level.
