Approximately 70 women came to Lucerne on January 24, 2016, for this year's Day of Encounter. As always it was a joy to meet friends and start the new year together.
The day's speaker, Ingrid Bomke from Germany, a trained kindergarten teacher, told frankly of her ministry for teenagers and young people, including many experiences. She helps them and their families when they need a counselor and call her by telephone. She listens attentively as they tell her of their concerns and prays with them. Due to her own difficult experiences she has learned to understand others. Her keen sense of humour makes her an interesting and inspiring speaker. Once more the delicious food was prepared by a team of men. Thanks for their help as well as for the technical team.
