On Sabbath, April 15, 2ß23, the Adventist Church in Cannes-Antibes welcomed pastor Diane Regis, who is also the Conference Women’s Ministries director. During the service, Diane spoke about the important place that Jesus gave to women, illustrated by the story of the life-changing encounter that Mary of Magdala experienced at the tomb on the morning of the resurrection. This place, which was supposed to symbolize the end of everything, became the place for all hopes thanks to the presence of the risen Savior. And it was Mary, a woman, who was charged with bearing this wonderful news. Her life was turned upside down, as well as that of all the disciples, including us.
After a delicious meal, the women met with Diane who presented Women’s Ministries to us: its origin, its call, and vision. This presentation was done in a fun way through a game that allowed some of us to win a beautiful prayer agenda for women.
It was an unforgettable and warm moment, full of kindness and a good mood that must certainly have inspired participants. A big thank you to the Lord and Pastor Diane RÉGIS.
