On May 4, 2024, the much-awaited Convention of Hungarian-speaking sisters took place in Câmpenița. About 170 women participated in the program specially organized for them and throughout the meeting they enjoyed a great fellowship, both spiritual (through the presentation of the Word of God, prayer, and singing) and social (through fellowship). The devotional was given by Liliana Radu, Director of Women's Ministries in the Romanian Union, who spoke about Pilate's wife, emphasizing the courage to speak the truth at key moments. The noon sermon entitled "The Holy Spirit, God's Way of Showing His Love and Presence" was given by Dagmar Dorn, Director of Women's Ministries at the Inter-European Division. She brought to the participants' attention the work of the Holy Spirit and the image of God restored and reflected in His expectant ones, making the listeners aware of the importance of a life according to God's will.
After a tasty vegetarian lunch, lovingly prepared by the sisters and enjoyed by all present, the meeting continued with a training session through a seminar entitled "Attachment and Loss" by psychologist Banga Zsóka. On this occasion, the importance of the role of attachment and the understanding of experienced losses was brought to the fore as to how important they are in human life as they define individual decisions and relationships and can improve our experiences with children and loved ones. Sister Dagmar Dorn's report on the activities carried out in the territory of the Inter-European Division and the experiences presented by Sisters Iudith and Anna crowned the meeting, providing inspiration and creativity in mission. During the event, the sisters present received hand-woven baskets made of jute according to the historical handicraft of the area, a book in Hungarian "Learn to Live" (written by Lucian Cristescu), and bookmarks. Throughout the meeting, translation was provided by Anna Nădășan, Katalin Biro and Ágota Ősz. Poetry and good quality music comforted and uplifted the hearts of the listeners through Erika Balla (poetry) and soloist Jako Johanna.
