Women’s International Day of Prayer in Austria

United Prayer

The Women of the church of Linz and Wels in the Austrian Union met for an afternoon program featuring the International Day of Prayer. The program included a session of United Prayer, a seminar on dealing with their “Daily Giants”, or on how to hear God’s voice through the many distractions and the noise of life, as well as small group discussions. They discovered that sometimes you have to take more steps in life until God reveals his next task for us. We should remember that even David in the Bible had to pass through his high and low phases until he was finally ready to rule as a king.
The afternoon ended with another prayer session with time for a personal silent prayer and refreshments in the form of fruit and tea. It was a very pleasant afternoon.
