Women’s Day of Prayer in the Banat Conference, Romania

On the occasion of the International Women's Day of Prayer the sisters and brothers alike of the Bethany Church, Timisoara, enjoyed the material prepared by the General Conference "Ignite Your Prayer Life" on March 2, 2024.
In the morning the divine service included a children's program and at the end of the service, flowers were offered to the sisters. In the afternoon there was a program on "Prayer and its Effectiveness". This included three poems recited by Marta, Mary, and Edith, three songs with the community, and Monica and Dana presented experiences of heard prayer and the power of prayer in our lives. Ana highlighted the heartfelt prayer of the children and the major difference we make when we pray, and Nina drew a parallel between her hard-tried life and the power of the Savior that she gained only through prayer. Then Sorina emphasized how important prayer is in the Christian's life.
In the end, we realized the benefit of such meetings, where all open up individually. We were advised and encouraged by our pastor Erik Csergezan to repeat or make a habit of such meetings, discussing prayer, and praying together. May the Lord be glorified through such wonderful occasions!
