On Sunday, August 24, 2025, a special women's breakfast took place at the Adventist Church in Dillenburg. Under the theme “The burden of our thoughts – becoming free in everyday life,” numerous women gathered for a morning full of fellowship, inspiration, music, and culinary delights.
After a rich breakfast buffet with fresh bread, fruit, waffles, and much more, speaker Mihaela Georg introduced the topic. In her presentation, she spoke about how much our thoughts shape our everyday lives—for better or for worse. Worries, fears, and self-doubt can become a heavy burden, but the Bible invites us to give this burden to Jesus.
The biblical encouragements were particularly impressive:
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
“Do not worry about tomorrow.” (Matthew 6:34)
“The peace of God will guard your hearts.” (Philippians 4:6–7)
A musical highlight of the morning was the special music performed by Cristina Macaveiu, who touched hearts with her music and wonderfully deepened the spiritual part of the event.
In addition to spiritual enrichment, there was also time for conversation, laughter, and making new contacts. In a small exercise, the women were able to symbolically give their worries to Jesus and thus take a practical step toward inner freedom.
The atmosphere was warm and filled with joy and gratitude. Many participants went home feeling encouraged, with new inspiration for their everyday lives and strengthened by the community.
