Women Meet for a Day in Schweinfurt

On Sunday, 17.03.2024, in beautiful spring weather and glorious sunshine, women from all over Bavaria gathered in Schweinfurt for a Women’s Day. The speaker Jaimée Seis addressed the topic "Valuable and Beloved", and showed us from the Bible that we are infinitely valuable - we are God’s beloved daughters.
God calls women into his service. Even in the Old Testament, women were prophets. In the New Testament, we are introduced to a woman who served in the sanctuary. "There was also a prophet, Anna… She never left the temple but worshipped night and day, fasting and praying” (Luke 2:36-37 NIV). Like Anna, we too can be God’s servants and co-workers. God wants to motivate us as women to discover and use the gifts he has given us. Women and men can work together in God's service, support each other, complement each other, and encourage each other.
On this meeting day, we experienced fully the gift of hospitality - the lovingly decorated tables, the delicious food, and the warm atmosphere that made the day a warm and richly blessed encounter.
