Woman's Bible published in German

When the adventist Woman's Bible was published in 2014 by Safeliz, Spain, in English, Spanish and French, later in Portuguese, women in the German-speaking countries expressed their desire to have a Bible for Women in German as well. At first it looked as if it would not be possible, considering that the German-speaking population who might be interested is not so great. Besides, there already are Women's Bibles in German, published by christian publishing houses. So why publish another Woman's Bible?
In addition to the text of the Bible in the "Neues Leben" translation this Bible includes about 300 pages of notes and supplementary information about life in Bible times, portraits of Bible women, Bible studies and adventist beliefs. Now women can access a lot of useful information directly in their Bibles when they study, prepare devotionals and sermons. We greatly appreciate the initiative of Safeliz in taking up this project.
Released at the German-speaking congress held in Friedensau, Germany, September 21-14, 2017, the participants of the congress all received a voucher with which they were able pick up their own free copy of the Bible for Women at the booth of adventist media.
