The “Speranța” (Hope) Adventist Church of Cluj-Napoca City, respectively its Women’s Ministries Department, organizes annual events on social educational topics, by which they contribute to both supporting religious freedom and helping some disadvantaged groups, as well as raising alarm signals regarding different social causes.
This year, the Adventist Church together with Dr. Ana-Maria Zanfir as a coordinator of the program, in partnership with the City Hall, the Emergency Hospital and Samsung Romania as the official sponsor, organized a free event for women, a press conference with an entire team of personalities at the Grand Hotel in Napoca. Three seminars for women were presented in order to help women stay in good health: Prevention Saves Lives, (Re)Gain your trust in you and Better than Rubies from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. At the same time ultrasonic testing was being performed for more than 200 women: abdominal, pelvic, breast, and phlebopathy by a team of very well-known doctors. The women were able to enjoy chair massages provided by a team of therapists, and the Thermomix booth prepared for them very tasty healthy food samples.
A special playground for children had been prepared as well as a reading corner for the ladies who arrived earlier.
All participants went home with a gift (a Bible, The Great Controversy book, an invitation to the next evangelistic meeting) and a flower.
