Walking on Waters

Women’s Breakfast in Vienna, Austria

„Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away“. Song of Solomon 8:7 NIV.
On Sunday, September 15, despite Vienna being partially flooded and threatened by a deluge, several women decided to forgo comfort and, fighting against the heavy rains, practically ”walked on waters”, to participate in a Women's Breakfast Meeting.
While many women were blocked by closed roads or traffic jams, 18 women from different churches in Vienna and their non-SDA friends made it to the meeting. In addition to the tasteful, rich breakfast, they enjoyed the joy of fellowship, were inspired by God's Word, and also heard a presentation about the use of essential oils in everyday life.
The speaker had traveled more than 200 kilometers almost floating through the floods, but left behind a group of enthusiastic, remotivated, and refreshed women to bring the reaffirmed fragrance of God's love forward and spread it among people, according to our ”Walking on Waters” Year Motto.
