Ticino Women’s Ministries launch G4C Program

November 19, 2017, saw the start of the Girls4Christ program in the part of Switzerland where Italian is spoken. 9 teenage girls responded to the invitation to the church in Gravesano which had been beautifully decorated. The program began with a delicious brunch. The girls were introduced to the team led by Martha Santana and Vice Fabiana Bertotti. Marzia Ravani held a short devotional. The atmosphere was influenced by the good food and soon the room was filled with laughter and conversation. Bernadette Fogliani explained the G4C concept and what it is all about and what kinds of activities the girls can expect. As an introduction she showed a short video produced by a German-speaking girls group and the Ticino girls expressed their wish to meet with these girls. They were informed about possible topics like problems of adolescence, health, personal and spiritual growth and selfesteem. Social activites, games and crafts will not be forgotten. The girls also have the possibility of suggesting topics of interest.
Then Fabiana the girls with much sensibility about their dreams and they had the opportunity of discussing how these dreams can be fulfilled. She pointed out that they can tell God about their dreams and He will help them fulfill their dreams according to His plan. The girls had a great time together and were reluctant to leave.
