Spiritual Women’s Ministries Weekend in the Vosges

French Women are inspired by Psalm 139

« I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. »
Psalm 139:14 set the tone for the spiritual weekend.

Around twenty women gathered at the edge of a beautiful forest to pray, learn more about themselves and develop their potential. Throughout the weekend, the women took up the challenge of waking up before sunrise to pray and give glory to God for these blessings. It was a special time to connect with God and renew our commitment to him. We worked on our potential, starting by identifying and strengthening the values and talents God gives us. We hope that after this experience, each woman will be able to invest herself in the mission entrusted to her.
A long and lovely walk punctuated the Sabbath afternoon. It was a time to take a break, become aware of our God's power, and appreciate the beauty of nature. We thank the WM leaders at the church in Epinal and salute their commitment in organizing this event.

The weekend was rich with testimonies, workshops and filled with shared love:
● in prayer: (waking up early every day for this time with God, strong communion and a feeling of belonging to a real family).
● in emotion: (a workshop that enabled each to find two of their greatest qualities, then mutually, to write to the women present what they exuded and inspired)
● in reflection and exchange: the parable of the talents. Realize that you are a special creature of God, endowed with potential. It's essential to deconstruct the negative thought patterns and rebuild your image on the solid foundation of Christ.
In addition, prayer enabled us to renew our intimate and indispensable relationship with God. It's a powerful tool for growth, for repairing and connection. Prayer is good for our mental health and reduces anxiety.
The Lord offers women a powerful reminder of their strength and dignity. Jesus restores by demonstrating that he is the God of the impossible. (Mark 9:23 - all things are possible to him who believes. )
The women left enriched, blessed, and happy to have experienced real, intense communion with one another.
