On Sunday, May 4, women and friends from the Adventist community in Catania, together with some sisters in the faith from the Lentini church, spent a morning outdoors on the Catania waterfront. They met to experience a breakfast together in friendship and joy at “La Tavernetta” café. This was followed by a time of biblical reflection about Hanna, the mother of Samuel, complemented by a communal prayer.
Then, the group devoted time to physical well-being. It moved nearer to the sea to perform some gymnastic exercises. It was pleasant and relaxing. This enabled everyone to be ready to participate in some Bible games played in groups. It was also an opportunity for witnessing, as we had a chance to exchange a thought about the Lord's love with some women who were strolling along the shoreline and looking up to us. We experienced precious and special moments that allowed us to taste together the beauty and joy of serving the Lord.
