Prayer Vigil at the Adventist Church in Pamplona, Spain

The King sent for you

From Saturday, September 20, to Sunday, September 21, the Adventist Church in Pamplona held a vigil. It began at 6:00 p.m. and ended at 6:00 a.m., under the theme “The King sent for you.” The night was filled with worship, reflection, learning, and unity among all members of the congregation.
The vigil was organized by the Women's Ministry, with the valuable support of the entire church, which joined in every participation, song, activity, and prayer. The central character was Mephibosheth, who led them to reflect on emotions and how to manage them from a faith-based perspective. The activity was completed with the intervention of psychologist Ruth Somolinos. Ruth shared practical and scientific guidelines to better understand this topic from a Christian perspective better.
The young people also played a special role by conducting interviews with church members and leaders. Through their testimonies, they shared experiences about Christian leadership and how to lead with humility, faith, and commitment. These moments became a source of intergenerational learning.
Participation
A special moment was a participatory activity in which several brothers who did not usually participate were encouraged to do so. Some led prayers; others shared messages of inspiration and testified how God can change lives. This space allowed hidden talents to be discovered and motivated the congregation to become more actively involved in the Lord's work.
During the night, profound topics were presented, such as Peter's calling, along with a reflection on the questions:
Who was Jesus for us before we knew him? Who is Jesus for us today? And who do we hope Jesus will be for us in the future?
In addition, the transforming power of prayer was highlighted, recalling examples of men who never doubted that God can change lives through intercession.
Members of the Church of Calahorra also visited, whose presence strengthened communion and made this spiritual experience even more special.
The vigil ended at dawn with a deep sense of spiritual renewal and commitment. The church in Pamplona emerged strengthened, united, and encouraged to continue living with love and dedication, convinced that the King has called us to bring His light to every corner of our community.
