Paul and the Women

An Analysis of what the Apostle Paul really meant

Why, even today, are so many women victims of violence, contempt, and inequality, sometimes even within so-called Christian societies?
While certain practices persist in various parts of the world, we must question the situation in our own contexts. Men, often in the name of misunderstood religious traditions, claim authority over women, particularly in the family sphere. This book offers an in-depth and rigorous analysis of the writings of the Apostle Paul, which are frequently invoked to justify gender domination. However, far from devaluing women, Paul recognizes their full dignity and their essential role in the Church, society, and the family. This study invites us to return to the biblical foundations of a relationship between men and women based on reciprocity, complementarity, and love.
Through an analysis of the texts of the Apostle Paul, the author highlights the biblical foundations of the relationship between men and women, based on reciprocity, complementarity, and love. He shows that, far from devaluing women, Paul recognizes their essential role in the Church, society, and the family.
