"A wonderful world with many joys" at Doftana Valley

In June, the Women's Ministry Department collaborated with the Children's Sabbath School of the Petru Rareș Seventh-day Adventist Church in Câmpina, to hold a special program created for children entitled "A wonderful world with many joys" in the Doftanei valley. The event took place in the local Adventist Church and was divided into three stages: spiritual, medical and creative cooking class for children, including pizza.
On this occasion, the spiritual part was held by Sister Marinela Peicu, addressing both the children and the 15 parents present. She emphasized that the education of children is done with much prayer, attention and love and not with aggression. The medical part was presented by Dr. Alina Androne, psychiatrist. She spoke about sugar and its harmful effects on the body, making parents and children alike aware of the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle, even from an early age.
The creative cooking class was a delight for the 20 children. Helped by a team of 11 volunteers, they learned to make pizza dough, decorate it to their own taste and, of course, eat it with great joy.
And to make the delight even greater, the children also received gifts.
