Orange Day Message from Sweden

The Women’s Ministries Department in the Swedisch Union Conference posted a reminder of Orange Day on August 25, 2021.
„Today I pray for all the desperate women in Afghanistan. Women who fear for their lives, girls who fear they won't go to school anymore, teenage girls who risk becoming sex slaves.
Yes - for anyone wondering - I have painted my foot nails orange. It's a good reminder that I want to take ′‘orange-colored steps‘ every day. Steps from violence and towards God's love.
We stand with God against violence!“
What an inspiring thought! Let us all take steps from violence towards God’s love and keep something visible in orange around us to remind us of these steps. Don’t forget Orange day on the 25th of every month. And yes, let’s pray for all women who are abused, and particularly now for the women in Afghanistan.
