Violence Prevention Day was received with great interest and joy on the Sabbath of November 25, 2023, in the 1st Adventist Church of Valcea. We enjoyed a pleasant, holy atmosphere, uplifting music, and moments of fellowship warmed our hearts. During the divine service, Alina Țucmeanu presented some information about Violence Prevention Day, as well as clear guidelines on how to act when faced with concrete situations of violence or abuse.
The inspiring message from God, with the suggestive title "Wolves in sheep's clothing" presented by Daniela Petreacă, aroused the interest of those present, challenging listeners to delve deeper into this area of abuse in all its forms. At the end, orange pens with the ENDITNOW logo were given away, together with a written message specially designed for the sisters.
The fellowship meal at lunchtime delighted our eyes and brought us closer together, and after the meal was served, we continued through free, interactive discussions, trying to find effective and practical ways to serve those in need, both in the church and outside. There were also some visits to lonely, sick, elderly sisters, giving them both food parcels and pens with a special message, an occasion that brought joy and smiles to the faces of the sisters visited.
