The Women’s Ministries group in the church in Cadempino organized a meeting to welcome a new mother and her baby to their congregation so that they could bestow a special blessing on them. Dependence on the word of God and prayer is the greatest help parents can wish for in order to be good parents. They used the material prepared for the Women's Ministries International Day of Prayer in a touching service.
The church rejoiced in Marea’s wish to have God in her life as it is an example of how people can go from living a chaotic life to a harmonious and orderly life. As a symbol of the importance of prayer in our lives twelve representatives of the church each gave Marea a key to prayer with which she can open the blessings that the Lord has prepared for all who love Him. They encouraged her to trust God to help her make good choices for the growth of her little daughter Perla, as she asks Him for guidance in prayer. Pastor Lucio Altin led in a special prayer for the whole family of Nayana and Marea.
Noema, the great-grandmother, also gave a beautiful message for three generations that is united by the love of Christ: great-grandmother, mother, daughter and granddaughter, to which the whole congregation and family joined with a resounding Amen. Photos: WM Ticino
