News from Romania - Mărășești Church, Câmpina

In the autumn, the Women’s Ministries team, ADRA and Dorcas Departments of the Mărășești Church and few persons from other churches around Câmpina made a plan to make gifts for women at Christmas. They started to knit wool socks, others made cards, and others made envelopes. They bought 72 sets of ”A Gift for Your Family” which contains a Bible and a Bible study guide as well as 137 books on health, faith and cooking. In total they prepared 209 gift bags.
From December 22 to 24, together with pastor Alexandru Ciurea, who was involved both financially and emotionally, the gifts were presented people in the community like nurses, doctors, people who work at the local police department, in administrative offices, pharmacies, and friends from the town who are not adventists. They received the gifts with joy and gratitude, impressed by the warm hearts and love of the people who had prepared the gifts. May God bless all who received gifts as well as those who were involved in the preparation.
