New Women's Ministries Director in Spanish Union

In the Spanish Union of Seventh-Day Adventists the membership is made up of 25% men, 25% married women and 50% single women. With this large percentage of women in the church the Women’s Ministries Department has a huge task and possibility of reaching the women of the church and of inspiring them to share their faith with other women. As of April 2017 Amalia Reta is the new director of the Women’s Ministries Department in addition to her work as an assistant to the Youth Department and Mission Department. Before coming to work at the Union office Amalia worked for 30 years at Safeliz publishing house. Amalia has already immersed herself in her new responsibility with energy and diligence. In spite of her huge workload at the office Amalia is enthusiastic about working with women in nurturing, empowering and outreach.
