New Women's Ministries Director for Austria

Jeanine Rollgaiser voted as Women's Ministries Leader

On November 26, 2018, the Union committee of the Austrian Union voted to fill the vacant position of Women’s Ministries Director. Many church members in Austria have been concerned that no successor for Gerd-Laila Walter was elected for this department. After much consideration God has led in a way that we are now able to present Jeanine Rollgaiser, née Walter, as the new Women’s Ministries Director. Jeanine is married to Harri Rollgaiser who is working as a pastoral assistant in the Bogenhofen district. Jeanine is working as a health care nurse and she has completed training as a mediator and life counselor and social worker. In addition she has attended a mission school and assisted in a church planting project.
That her birth name is the same as the last Women’s Ministries Director is no coincidence: Jeanine is the daughter of Peter and Gerd-Laila Walter. The proverb “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” seems to be right. We are sure that this situation will be helpful in passing on the baton. Jeanine Rollgaiser will be serving as a part-time worker beginning in January 2019. In order for her to be able to learn the ropes and prepare for her ministry the Leadership Certification Seminar planned for the beginning of February will be postponed to a later date. Please pray for Jeanine Rollgaiser as she steps into her new position.
