New Director for Women’s Ministries in the Franco-Belgian Union

Corina Timofté appointed to lead Women’s Ministries

The Franco-Belgian Union recently appointed Corina Timofté to the position of Women’s Ministries Director after the retirement of Alicia Denteneer in the summer of 2018. Corina is a member of the Romanian Trocadéro Church in Paris. Although she has previously been a member of the North French Federation executive committee she took some time to think and pray before accepting the call to this ministry. In her local church she has served as an elder and in the Sabbath School department as well as Women’s Ministries.
A professional accountant and assistant, Corina Timofté is looking forward to ministering to the specific needs of our members in spite of ethnic and cultural differences. Corina loves to serve people and to try to improve their lives. Her motto is to always leave something good wherever she is. She believes that the Lord has the power to help us this way and she is depending on Him to guide her in her actions, knowing that when we are weak, then He makes us strong.
Corina Timofté has been living in Paris with her family since their arrival from Romania in 2002. She has two daughters. She is grateful to the Lord for all he has given them during all this time, for the people they have met on their journey and for God’s Grace as his children. In return, they would like to bring him and his salvation to everyone they can reach.
Corina considers it a great honor to lead out in the Women’s Ministries Department, but she also sees it as a great responsibility. She wants to continue the work that has been done by the former leaders but also to come up with new ideas. Corina has already contacted the local leaders of the conferences in order to find out what has been done and what projects are being planned for 2019.
May God bless the Women’s Ministries Department in the Franco-Belgian Union and the new director as she is stepping out in her ministry to so many women in the churches and communities.
