Nature Day in Transilvania

Outing with families of children with challenges in Romania

Sunday, August 11 was a day spent in nature in Buru. In a fairy-tale setting, the 60 participants (children and adults) enjoyed the enchanting landscapes and participated in various inclusive workshops for children with mental and genetic disorders. Sensory activities, music, 'mommy swap' activities together with practical activities such as going to the river and picking stones, (later painting stones), discovering interesting plants and learning their names or different insects, made this a particularly interesting meeting. The movement competitions with balloons, soap bubbles and bumblebees engaged parents and children alike.
