Love is the way

Change the world with love

Many were impressed with the words of Bishop Michael Curry at the royal wedding on May 19. He tried to impress how much we need to harness the power of love in order to change the world. Quoting Martin Luther King, he said "Love is the only way". With these words echoing in our minds we should think of ways to show love and appreciation for our brothers and sisters - all men and women - because we are all God's children. Considering the acrimony we encouter in our world daily it is so good to see how a small token of appreciation can lift up our hearts and encourage us. One example is the card sent to the retiring Women's Ministries director with the words:
"Although we have met few times, I consider myself privileged to have worked with you in the EUD Team. You have done a great job and God will bless you for this, I am sure. I hope that we will have the possibility to meet again. In the meanwhile, I'll 'meet you' on Facebook...and follow your beautiful trips in Switzerland and abroad. Thank you for your kind friendship and leadership. May the Lord reward you and your entire family for what you have done for Him."
Why not take up the idea of showing appreciation and love in a creative way to someone you are working with today? We can change the world with love.
