Love is Sharing Hope

On Sabbath, February 17, 2024, the Tenerife South Adventist Church held a special activity entitled: "Love is sharing hope; celebrating the day of love and friendship with our community". Together with the Women's Ministries group they made personalized cards with verses and a QR link to visit the HopeMedia channel to get more information about who they are. They also prepared small bouquets.
Wanting to share the love they have received from Jesus, they went out into the community and delivered 60 bouquets and cards. It was very satisfying to see the smiles on the faces of the people who received this gift and to tell them that the greatest example of unconditional love is Jesus.
It was an enriching and joyful missionary activity, connecting with people and seeing that there is a great need for love and hope. People need affection and words of motivation. Meeting those needs was inspiring.
There are so many people waiting for those words of hope. Therefore, we need to show a kind smile to a world full of chaos. We need to make a difference in our city. We need to show that we are joyful Christians, kind, helpful, and above all full of God's spirit. He is the one who moves us to share, reciprocating that love we have already received. It is time to show the world who Jesus is and why we follow him.
At the end of the activity, they stayed in the San Isidro square singing and sharing testimonies of what they had experienced with the people they met along the way. The church members who participated in the activity were blessed as much as the ones who received the gifts.
