Long-standing Education Department Director re-elected

Another interesting woman in leadership.
Dr. Lisa Beardsley-Hardy is the incumbent education director. Prior to her role at the GC, she held positions at the University of Hawai’i, the University of Illinois, AU, and Loma Linda University. She is the Board Chair for the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities (AAA) and Liaison for schools of medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy.
Born in England and holding a UK, Finnish, and US citizenship, she earned a bachelor’s degree in theology from Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary Far East, and holds degrees in public health, educational psychology, and management.

The Education Department team is responsible for the coordination, promotion, training, and quality of the global Seventh-day Adventist educational system, which includes 9,489 schools, colleges and universities, with 111,360 teachers and 2,044,709 students. One of the Education Associate Directors, Anneris Coria-Navia, is also a woman.
