Leadership Training in Portugal

New Motivation

Forty women attended the first level of the Leadership Training, from October 6-8 at the Youth Camp, in central Portugal.

The participants, ranging from 14 to 86 years old, were blessed by EUD Women’s Ministries Director Dagmar Dorn and other speakers who helped the participants to develop skills in their relationship with Christ and in the ability to serve, since each woman has a unique potential designed by God, making each one irreplaceable in the wide branches of His vineyard.

We started with the history of this department and learned that it had already begun at the end of the nineteenth century, with total support from the church and Ellen White. This was an endeavor by a noble lady who, seeking treatment in Battle Creek Sanitarium, accepted the Adventist message. Other topics presented included “How to study the Bible to create a relationship with God”; “Women in the Scriptures”; “Communication skills”; “Effective leadership and Conflict Management”; “Public Speaking”; and, finally, “Designing an action plan to answer the needs of the local church and community and how to advertise it”.

The program is available on the Instagram account @ministerios_da_mulher.
The next level will be presented in 2024.
