International Women’s Day of Prayer

Ignite Your Prayer Life

On the first Sabbath in March, Adventist women around the world observe a special Women’s Day of Prayer. Since 1990, this day has been promoted by the Department of Women’s Ministries at the General Conference. It is a day of prayer for and with women. On this special day, women organize prayer events and church services and pray for the women in their local communities. Every year, the Women’s Ministries Department provides a resource packet with sermon and seminar materials, children’s stories, and activities which are translated into many languages.

This year’s theme on March 2 is “Ignite Your Prayer Life.”
