This year March 1 is the traditional International Women’s Day of Prayer that falls on the first Sabbath in March in the Adventist Church Calendar.
The Material prepared by the General Conference Women’s Ministries Department is being translated into the various languages of our region right now.
The English version of the sermon material is already available for download: https://cloud.eud.adventist.org/index.php/apps/onlyoffice/s/P7EKrcLAoTgbAPj?fileId=45466247
The PowerPoint material will be added as soon as possible. Due to unexpected problems, the material has been delayed. Please feel free to translate, adjust, and edit the resource packet according to your local needs. It is our prayer that God will enable our souls to prosper and provide us with good spiritual health. “…We pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 1:2).
Charissa Torossian wrote the material for International Women’s Day of Prayer for us. Her sermon is about a woman who reached out to Jesus in faith. We all need to reach out to Jesus. We all have our own unspoken prayer requests or problems, challenges, and sicknesses. Will this story tell us something we need in our lives today?
The workshop is about how to discover the joy of being God’s daughter. Do you enjoy being a woman? Does it mean a lot to you? What does God expect from us? Are His expectations too high? Can you identify with the woman from Proverbs 31?
May God bless the International Women’s Day of Prayer in your locations! May His Spirit unite us all and show us new ways to reach out to God and people around us. May this day be brightened by Jesus’ love and hope that with Him the best is yet to come!
