The Women's Ministries group of the Brazilian Adventist Church in Milan experienced a special Sabbath in celebration of International Women's Day. On March 9, during Sabbath School, women took on the roles of several female figures of the Bible and spoke about Priscilla's hospitality, Miriam's special assignment, Deborah, a judge with the gift of prophecy, and Esther who became a queen for special times.
Juliana Bahia, a nutritionist and naturopath who came from Brazil for a month of missionary service in Milan, delivered the sermon and preached on how Jesus can use women in mission. In the afternoon, Bahia gave a meeting where we talked about mission and physical and spiritual health. The day ended with a cup of tea.
According to a report by Vania Evanildes Souza, elder of the Milan Brazilian church.
