International Day to End Gender-based Violence

November 25, 2016

On 25 November, the International Day to End Gender-based Violence, we are kicking off the 16 Days of Activism to end violence against women and girls. The global campaign runs until Human Rights Day on 10 December. All over the world organizations are pointing out by various means, that violence against women and children must end. The enditnow campaign of the Seventh-Day Adventist church is one of these efforts. The UN Women initiative "Orange your world" encourages people to wear orange on this day as a sign that violence must not be tolerated and that we want to change our societies to a brighter, non-violent future.
