Heartshaped Pillows for Cancer Patients

Krattigen, Switzerland, May 30, 2017

The women of the Krattigen SDA church in Switzerland proudly present their first 30 heartshaped pillows in the garden next to the chapel. They are working with joy and enthusiasm, particularly because one of the women is affected herself and knows how necessary such pillows are. “It is a great relief,” according to Esther Brawand Fuchs (in the middle of the back row). After her surgery she used the pillow for a long time while driving in a car, at home and even at her workplace. Denise Hochstrasser (EUD) is delighted about the project that was started after she presented the topic to the elderly in the retirement home. These women meet once a week in the garden to knit, share and sew and stuff heartshaped pillows.
