Gut Thoughts & Head Feelings

The podcast of the Women's Ministries Department in Germany

The Podcast that brings together feelings and reason.
How it all began
A few years ago, a friend raved to me about how great the invention of podcasts was. At the time, I had little interest in the whole thing. But my curiosity was piqued, and I wanted to understand what he was so enthusiastic about. And lo and behold, I found what I was looking for.
A good conversation, a new thought, simply something worth knowing, a view of the world, or whatever it is for you. Whether on a long train journey, on the morning commute to work, in the gym, or on the sunny balcony, something familiar and cozy can develop over time. Possibly.
Why a Podcast from the Women's Ministries Department now?
Feelings and emotions are part of our lives and are just as important as our intellect (and not just because they are often much faster). If we face up to them, become aware of them, name them, then it is no longer just about the need triggering the emotion, but we can learn to trust our gut feeling and no longer run such a great risk of believing everything we think.
Based on our Christian view of the world and humanity, the podcast aims to mutually encourage and empower us to let our light shine in an increasingly dark world.
Topics
The podcast will be released every two weeks from June 10, 2025, on all usual platforms. It will deal with topics such as life balance, crisis, calm, conflict, injury, self-compassion, and how we can succeed in strengthening our feelings and our minds together, rather than against each other, and thus make wise decisions for ourselves and others.
