On Sabbath October 15, a Women's Ministries Department (WM) Convention was held in Craiova, allowing training and fellowship of sister leaders from the communities of Dolj and Olt counties.
The Sabbath morning devotional entitled "I am looking for a person" was given by Daniela Petreacă, director of the WM Department for the Oltenia Conference, emphasizing that the Lord is looking for persons who will serve and meet people’s needs as Christ did. The Sabbath School was led by Sister Neli Ghiță and the sermon, entitled "Esther", was presented by Liliana Radu. It emphasized the idea of being determined and courageous for the Lord, and with the small group having a decisive role in the lives of God's people, as with Daniel and Esther.
The music was heavenly. The Convention hymn "We stand hand in hand" was sung with great joy by the participants. The community choir, the women's group, and the instrumental group created a holy atmosphere of worship and spiritual joy with their music
After the end of the morning divine service, the WM leaders were provided training. The materials, activities, and projects presented brought encouragement to the participants and also new ideas for their work.
A fellowship meal concluded the program. It was a delight in its diversity and great taste, demonstrating the special talents of the sisters and their love of healthy food. Praise the Lord for the ministry opportunities He gives us!
