Girs4Christ Booth in Offenburg, Germany

Jasmin Stanoschefsky and her team had prepared a booth at the 12th Youth in Mission Congress of the Baden-Württemberg Conference where girls were invited to spend devotional time reading devotional books or using cards with Bible texts or even through Bible Art. Many girls were inspired to give their creativity free rein. Two workshops were also offered during the congress that were especially interesting for girls: “Follow me - Digital Influencer.” Magdalena Lachmann, BW conference communications director presented how we can use media in order to influence attitudes. This is also a possibility for Bloggers and YouTubers to present Christ in a natural and attractive way.
A second Workshop was presented by Jasmin Stanoschefsky, Women’s Ministries Director of the BW conference called “A Picture says more than a Thousand Words – sharing your Faith through Art.”
The participants created works of art depicting portraits of women of the Bible in difficult life situations. These pictures are intended for an art exhibition as an enditnow action. Others illustrated each of the 28 fundamental beliefs of the church, portraying the message without words. These pictures will also be used as exhibits in various witnessing activities or exhibitions in churches.
