The regional G4C day attracted about 20 girls from 10 to 18 years on Sunday morning, November 12, 2017.
After a short devotion a delicious brunch with plenty of variety guaranteed a good start to the day. A game during which the girls got to know each other led to the topic “Unique – accepted without prejudice”. The topic had been requested by the girls and connected salvation and acceptance by God in an interesting way.
Several workshops were then offered: Sewing a sports bag, weaving friendship bands, Scripture doodle (learning Scripture by heart) and Bible Art Journaling.
During lunch a girl was overheard asking the group leader for permission to bring her friend again the next time, because she had enjoyed it so much. “Here everybody is welcome,” was the sincere and prompt answer.
What an unbelievably great thing Girls4Christ is: Girls pleading to be allowed to bring their friends! What a blessing with eternal consequences this is for the girls and young women as well as for us mentors.
