Girls4Christ Day in Dillenburg

“A Beauty Day with Your Chums” was the motto of our Girls’ Day on March 31, 2019 in the SDA church in Dillenburg, Germany. Eleven young women from 12 to 29 wanted to experience this beauty treatment.
The treatment consisted of games, workshops, singing and of course eating. Mihaela Georg and her team dished out delicious food at the great breakfast buffet as well as at the pizza lunch. The Face Massage workshop really pampered us. The second workshop showed how to prepare a solid body lotion and created wonderful odors. The story of Esther, the beautiful and wise queen, who saved her people with her courage and God’s intervention, led to contemplation. Thus we learned that life is about more than just superficial beauty and that we also need to care for our character and personality.
Our Beauty Salon closed with games and a short devotional. Many new friendships were forged and we are looking forward to the next meeting.
